Who we are

The Last Mile Manufacturing & Onshoring Initiative is a non-profit, manufacturer-centric effort to return jobs to the United States that have been lost to offshoring. Our efforts are centered around a proven approach we call Last Mile Manufacturing, which has significant benefits for manufacturers and the communities in which they exist.

The initiative is chaired by Sandeep Duggal. Sandeep is the CEO of Extron Inc., a high-tech manufacturer located in Silicon Valley. Formerly with Sun Microsystems, Intel Corp., and Monitor Company, Mr.Duggal holds Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from Stanford University and a MBA (with distinction) from The Harvard Business School, Harvard University.
